Yoshi Touch & Go was an early release for the Nintendo DS.
By modern standards, its touchscreen-based gameplay seems rudimentary. However, at the time of its release, this innovative – if slight – game ably demonstrated Nintendo’s ambitions with its ‘third-pillar’ console.
It’s certainly not the best Yoshi game, nor is it the best example of Nintendo DS touchscreen gameplay, but in its own quiet way, it’s an important little game.
Yoshi Touch & Go was released in Japan under the charming name of Catch! Touch! Yoshi!
