Metroid Prime Hunters was developed to take advantage of the Nintendo DS console’s many features and functions, including its graphical power, touch-screen, interface, and WiFi connectivity.
The result is a multiplayer-focused adventure shooter that manages to remain faithful to the franchise while striking out in a new direction. It’s also an impressive game from a technical perspective, demonstrating what the Nintendo DS is capable of.
Playing it makes your thumbs hurt a bit though.
A demo for the game – Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt – was packed in with launch edition of the Nintendo DS in North America and Europe.
