Noted developers Broderbund cut their teeth with the likes of Prince of Persia and Choplifter on the Apple II in the early 1980s. They then moved into educational products, creating the widely used imaging software, The Print Shop.

Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? was also ported to the Super NES in 1993
