Wolfchild – SNES Box Art

Written by

Legendary game design Simon Phipps followed his work on the beloved Switchblade and Saint and Greavsie’s Football Trivia (among others) with Wolfchild, an autobiographical tale of a boy’s pursuit for happiness.

No, that’s not right. It’s actually an action game that takes inspiration from the likes of Strider and a billion other side-scrolling platformers. Despite being a little derivative in terms of gameplay, Wolfchild has heaps of style, and a fun, off-the-wall story to enjoy. Something of a forgotten gem, this one.
