Super Monkey Ball was Sega’s first game to published on a Nintendo console, and it also stakes a good claim for being the best GameCube launch title. Sorry, Luigi.
Tight controls, a wealth of devious levels to negotiate, and some truly excellent mini-games make the original Super Monkey Ball a must have game for any GameCube owner.
The game was followed by multiple sequels, none of which quite managed to capture the same magic.
